Word of caution with CO2 bottles. Recommend that you keep them in your saddle bag and not carry them in your jersey; particularly on hot days. This is a result of a bottle that exploded in the saddle bag of a riding buddy from the RAAFie group last week during the TDU The CO2 bottle is ‘Bike Bug’ branded and according to them it was the second bottle to explode in the past fortnight. No details on a potential recall.
